Bruna Spengler, P.E., CFM is this year's Young Engineer of the Year

​Bruna Spengler, P.E., CFM is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and from Texas A&M University with a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering - Water Resources. 
 
Bruna is an Associate Vice President at Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. in the San Antonio office. She has 10 years of experience in residential and commercial land development projects. She has been responsible for the planning, designing, and permitting of numerous residential, commercial, utility extension, and roadway projects in Bexar, Medina, Comal and Kendall Counties. Bruna currently leads a team of 12 people and her favorite part of the profession is to work with her team to resolve problems. Her goal is to be a servant leader and to create opportunities for those, like her, decided to make San Antonio their home. Outside of engineering, Bruna enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and traveling, mostly to visit her relatives in Brazil, alongside her husband Eduardo and son Joaquin.
 
Bruna currently serves in the Texas Society of Professional Engineers Bexar Chapter Board, the San Antonio River Authority Utility Development Advisory Committee, and the South Texas Business Partnership Board.
